CN Tower lunch
I last went to the CN Tower about 20 years ago, so surely wouldn't mind a re-visit with Mrs Chan and A/U7.
View from the revolving restaurant at the top.
Entree - Pumpkin soup
Main - Short rib of beef braised in Pinot Noir and chinese veges and polenta. VERY tender, but way too big.
Dessert - Dark chocolate tower
Glass bottom platform - I thought I was not afriad of heights until I got to the edge of the glass platform.
The overall experience was excellent value, reflecting the bad economy - $39 pp including the 3-course lunch, elevator ride, visit to the glass bottom platform and outdoor viewing area.
A much needed walk after lunch around the Downtown area.
26C today and flowers are everywhere in Toronto.
City Hall
Thunderstorms!!! Very gusty winds - probably about 100km/h.
Dinner - more Chiu Chow cuisine
Tea smoked duck - some of the best I've ever eaten
Deep fried minced crab and prawns
Pot rice with minced pork and "larm kok"
Oyster omelette
Veges with preserved eggs and salted eggs
Green bean soup with chewy jelly
Glass dumpling with taro mash inside
Total bill = $65 for 5 people including tips. Amazing!!!!
Went to Walmart after dinner to burn off *some* calories... and we found Kitchenaid stand mixers selling for $229CAD! (They retail for $699AUD in Sydney)

i think you need a better/more effective way to burn your calories than merely walking to Walmart...
